'56 Budapest uprising photo exhibition in Athens

I noticed there is a photo exhibition at Goethe Institut in Athens organized by the hungarian embassy about the 1956 uprising against the Soviets in Budapest.

Despite the divided and polarized modern hungarian society with ultranationalists trying to make unfortunate links and claims, I think the events of 1956 in Budapest are among the most important revolutions of the last century, showing not only the fight against a brutal dictatorial regime and a will for self determination but also exposed the merciless real-politik and cynicism of the West (an ongoing Suez crisis and a fear of opening pandora's box interfering with the Soviets'sphere of influence) on a noble cause.

I hope it's gonna be there at least until christmas...
